What we're planning to build.

We're an aeronautical and space engineering firm set up by Sam Cottle in 2023, aiming to build something called the Segmented Space Transport System (SSTS) by 2040.

This will be a space elevator system built up to 160km above Earth's surface in the LEO region divided into three basic stages, and subdivided into further 500m stages 

The stages up to 40km will be supported by lift balloons, jet engines and rocket engines, and the stages above that will be a predominantly tensile structure as opposed to a compression tower. We will have to construct the second stage in space, and so we will also be working on something called Operation Stratonimbus, a project to construct the world's largest heavy-lift launch vehicle
